Commission a Custom Work of Art
A commissioned piece begins with your story, space, or idea. I create original artwork and custom projects for individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations. Depending on the project, commissions may include abstract paintings, meaningful color-based pieces, restored objects, murals, public art, or a custom creative concept. Inquiry. Contact me with a short description of what you are imagining, where the finished piece will live, and any important deadline.
Consultation. We will discuss the size, colors, inspiration, mood, materials, reference images, location, and overall direction of the project.
Proposal and estimate. I will outline the project scope, estimated price, deposit, anticipated timeline, and any delivery, shipping, travel, or installation needs.
Deposit and scheduling. A nonrefundable deposit secures the project and allows materials and creative work to begin. The remaining payment schedule will be included in the proposal.
Creation and communication. I will create the work in my own artistic style while honoring the agreed direction. When appropriate, I may share progress photographs or check in at key stages.
Completion and approval. Final details are completed within the agreed scope. Any included revision opportunities will be explained before the project begins.
Final payment and delivery. The remaining balance is due before pickup, delivery, shipping, or installation. Arrangements vary according to the size and location of the work.
Because every commission is created individually, pricing and timing vary. Detailed ideas are welcome, but the strongest commissions also leave room for artistic interpretation.
